Each woodwind instrument is blended with strings, brass, and synthesizers to create innovative, ready-to-play hybrid instruments. Additionally, the library offers an extensive range of designed textures, including pads, drones, braams, booms, impacts, and drum sounds.
Chris Hein - Hybrid Winds centers on the ability to transform and shape sound in real-time, producing endless variations. Instruments are divided into three adjustable components—Attack, Sustain, and Release—each providing versatile control over tonal evolution. The Note-Heads feature enables up to 128 distinct attack shapes per note, while blending controls allow for seamless sound morphing via individual MIDI CCs or the intuitive XY-Pad. Release controls add unique sound sources upon note release, enriching the sonic possibilities further.
